    Responsibilities

    The Iron Mountain Data Center (IMDC) finance and accounting team reports to the SVP, CFO Data Center Finance. The team works within the IMDC business unit as a financial hub between IMDC’s leadership and business teams, Iron Mountain’s enterprise team, and financial shared service functions.  The team provides comprehensive financial stewardship in support of the IMDC business, including budgeting, forecasting and performance management, monthly accounting and financial reporting, ad-hoc analyses and modeling, capital and business case support, and managing financial controls.  As a member of the team, we are looking for a person with an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance, to support IMDC, a growing global portfolio of over $200m in annual revenue across 14 locations.  IMDC contributes to Iron Mountain’s status as a real estate investment trust (REIT). 

    The Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting various strategic finance initiatives, including long term financial planning, M&A modeling, greenfield development analysis, capital allocation analysis, commercial opportunity modeling, and external reporting. He or she will have the capability to own complex processes, develop robust and detailed financial models, and think strategically to provide insightful analysis to facilitate strategic decision making.

     

    This Financial Analyst role will support this initiative by performing the following tasks:

    • Develop and maintain driver based multi-year plan model for Data Center business line to derive Revenue, EBITDA, Capital, ROIC and Sales targets in support of strategic growth initiatives
    • Support capital allocation and business case analysis by evaluating M&A, greenfield development, and commercial activity; including working cross functionally to garner assumptions, building financial models, and creating presentations to provide analysis to senior leadership
    • Create quarterly Supplemental Reporting Package and collaborate with Investor Relations to craft external earnings call investor presentation messaging
    • Provide ad hoc support of monthly reporting, including consolidating and reporting of actual performance against budget and assist in the development of bottoms up monthly forecast and reporting packages

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
    • Advanced proficiency MS Excel, PowerPoint, Advanced proficiency and Hyperion Performance Management Applications
    • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills strongly preferred
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (includes strong presentation skills)
