    The  Portfolio Marketing Manager will act in a strategic capacity to guide the marketing vision and evolution of solutions to increase growth of Iron Mountain’s portfolio of Information Governance & Digital Tranformation services.

    She/he will be responsible for developing and messaging our portfolio capabilities and will create the marketing strategy and plan for new solution launches. She/he coordinates a variety of marketing execution resources to carry out the plan and integrate efforts to curate market intelligence, enable sales, drive adoption, and continue to build out Iron Mountain’s strong reputation in the marketplace.

    The position will report to the Senior Portfolio Marketing Manager, Information Governance & Digital Solutions.

    Essential Functions

    • Develops and executes the marketing strategy to support  bookings and pipeline business objectives.
    • Drives marketing launches for new solutions by leading buyer persona and message testing research, creating customer-facing messaging and content, and collaborating closely with Product Management, Sales, Sales Enablement and other Marketing functionsto ensure overall successful solution deployment in market.
    • Creates differentiated messaging frameworks including persona-centered value propositions and thought-leading points of view to competitively position solutions to help solve key buyer challenges.
    • Develops or curates product content in the industry vernacular (e.g. playbooks, solution briefs, case studies, blog posts, sales training materials).
    • Contributes to or builds industry-specific buyer personas, or refines existing buyer personas based on knowledge of industry and the customer buying process.
    • Contributes to the content and demand generation strategies for industry inbound and outbound activities.
    • Collaborates with sales enablement, solution specialists and/or sales operations on a well-defined sales enablement plan.
    • Analyzes performance including win/loss analysis, concepts for new solutions, and competitive offerings in conjunction with customer data to determine new solution concepts & take to market strategies.
    • Effectively represents Iron Mountain, its solutions and technologies to customers, partners, analysts, executive-level audiences and other significant constituencies, as well as represents those constituencies to Iron Mountain.



    • 3-5+ years’ experience in a go-to-market role, with a significant portion in product marketing or management.
    • Excellent communicator with strong background in creating compelling messaging and high level of writing/presentation skills.
    • High energy and results oriented.
    • Experience in any of the following areas a plus: software, SaaS, workflow automation, information management/governance, digital transformation, privacy.
    • Strong background in understanding B2B technology go-to-market, leading new solution launches and product/solution lifecycle.
    • Able to develop strategies to drive demand and awareness within specific target segments.
    • Can work across business units to connect with sales resources, buyers and other stakeholders.
    • Collaborative and creative approach to problem solving.
    • Nimble; quickly adapt to fast moving environment with competing and shifting priorities.
