    Summary:

    The Senior Project Manager is a leader in the field of international and domestic full-service shipping and project coordination, and is organized within the Client Services team at Crozier. General responsibilities include; coordinating and overseeing the execution of services and projects for Crozier’ clients, working alongside our Account and Collection Managers. This role will coordinate internal and external resources across teams and within our Customer Relationship Management [CRM] system. Managing projects and providing guidance to other members of the Client Services team for all aspects of the job from; International shipping compliance and regulations, planning and pricing through execution, ensuring successful delivery of services, and keeping an updated feed of data in our CRM to support our Pipeline.

    Responsibilities 

    • Museum and gallery-level experience with coordinating major domestic and international consolidations including courier supervision      Understand compliancy with regulations as required for import/export shipments such as US Customs, Fish & Wildlife, IPPC, etc.
    •  Manage complex and large-scale projects with our Top Tier clients (from planning and pricing through execution) to ensure successful delivery in terms of scope, deliverables, and client satisfaction
    •   A contributing member of the Client Services leadership group driving improved processes and procedures across the team, including general training and oversight
    •  Create overall project documentation and work with internal departments and external vendors to execute, while ensuring timely and successful completion of projects
    • Utilize a consultative approach to develop an estimate addressing client’s business needs
    • Liaise and collaborate with internal teams, including Sales and Development team, Account Managers, Collection Managers, Client Services Administrators, and other key personnel including our Operations Subject Matter Experts [SME]
    • Perform site visits and client visits, to assess and evaluate the project scope, risk and timeline, as well client relationship development
    •  Monitor services scheduled and project timeline, update client and account Manager regarding any changes in scope, particularly as they deviate from original estimate
    •  Utilize problem-solving abilities if changes to the project occur – work through issue resolution to completion, delegating or escalating when necessary
    • Utilizing our CRM to manage leads and all data associated with client request, including insights or discoveries that need to be shared with our Account Management and Collection Managers.
    •   Keep all CRM data on leads and projects updated so that our pipeline is as accurate as possible
    •    Ensure estimates, work orders and invoices are clear, and that they delineate the required services in chronological order
    •     Create and review invoices for accuracy, and ensure invoices are approved in a timely manner

    Qualifications

    • 4-7 years’ experience in an Account, Project Management, or International Shipping coordination role
    • Passion for all things art related, including the latest market trends and developments
    • Proven team player with a track record of extensive international shipping and project coordination/management
    • Core business knowledge and understanding of back-end processes with an in-depth knowledge of Crozier’s full suite of services
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across several teams/departments
    • Strong work ethic with an ability to manage workload while efficiently and effectively prioritizing responsibilities to meet deadlines
    • Financial acumen, with an ability to understand pipelines and forecasts
    • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
    • Exceptional diligence and attention to detail as well as resourcefulness and quick, practical thinking in a demanding environment
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
    • Strategic thinker and logistics expert who is solutions-oriented and proactive in problem solving
    • Knowledge of inventory management systems and Salesforce
    • Salesforce CRM experience and US Customs Broker License highly recommended, but not required
    • 4 Year Degree Preferred
    • Customs Broker License a plus
