    The Manager, Business Process Improvement will be responsible for leading assigned strategic initiatives which are critical for the company to achieve its business objectives (Six Sigma, Lean, WorkOut, Project Management).  Provide training, support, guidance, feedback and mentoring to Yellow Belts, Green Belts and project teams.  Be an agent of change and an innovative problem-­solver who can generate scalable solutions to business problems with speed, agility, and high quality.  Provide leadership, coordination and oversight across a variety of integrated programs in a very consultative nature to manage issues, dependencies and risks.  Facilitate the resolution of complex, cross-functional issues utilizing a fact-based, consultative and disciplined approach.  Provide value-added expertise in developing new concepts, techniques, and standards across multiple business units and initiatives. Make recommendations and develop solutions for stakeholders on program management and planning to ensure proper planning and timely implementation of projects.  Position requires strong judgment, problem solving and influencing, communication, facilitation and negotiating skills. Ability to influence without direct authority, managing well within ‘grey’ to help the company figure out the best path forward. Operate cross-functionally at all levels within the organization. Candidate functions in a lead role by providing project planning, alignment, execution, governance, and guidance to colleagues/clients in area(s) of expertise



    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    • Program execution and the ability to translate strategy into execution. Coordinate with key internal and external partners, ensuring all parties are appropriately informed, engaged and driving desired results
    • Align with executive sponsor and ensure Program vision and goals tie back to strategic priorities.
    • Work effectively throughout all levels of the organization, frequently interfacing with Senior Management on Program level status, risk, and issues.
    • Lead Sr. Management (VPs and above) through high level prioritization and Governance Process
    • Monitor progress and interdependency of multiple projects across business units and initiatives. Provide analytical support in synthesizing and reporting results



    • Coordinating and running complex programs, projects and facilitations.
    • Defining requirements and plans for the project life cycle deployment.
    • Defining resources for project and program implementation.
    • Identifying and solving project issues effectively and expeditiously.
    • Overseeing and directing the project development teams and managing conflicts within the different groups.
    • Providing input to team assessment and evaluations.
    • Exhibiting leadership qualities to define requirements for project risks.
    • Ensuring the development and maintenance of project and technical documentation.
    • Overlooking the process aspects of individual projects as well as other aspects of release oversight.
    • Ensuring that the execution of all projects in the portfolio is carried out on schedule and on budget.
    • Planning for program risk and developing strategies for dealing with potential risks as well as mitigating them.
    • Reviewing the status reports of team members across projects and addressing issues as appropriate.
    • Setting program goals and milestones
    • Defining resource needs and the schedule for implementation of the program plan
    • Detecting and solving project issues when escalated.



    • A demonstrated understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
    • A demonstrated understanding of Project Management Methodology;
    • Strong communication, facilitation skills and the ability to motivate and provide a vision to project teams.
    • Strong organization, presentation, emotional intelligence, ability to navigate through undefined challenges and a strong customer focus.
    • Well rounded balance of skills between technical and soft skills:


    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor's degree required (Master’s Degree preferred)
    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
    • 10+ years of cross functional project management experience with experience successfully managing large, complex programs
    • Significant experience in change management within large or global organizations
    • Experience with virtual, remote, and distributed teams
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred, but not required.
