    Responsible for the development, delivery and oversight of the global insurance program. Responsible to identify and monitor risks, including mitigation of insurable risks through the arrangement of insurance policies providing the best possible combination of pricing, terms, retentions and insurer quality. 



    • Insurance / Renewal Compile and analyze exposure data for renewal of insurance programs. Review and analyze insurance quotes and provide direction. Provide insurance budgeting and cost allocation; issue global communication on insurance program renewals. 
    • Contract Review   Maintain insurance contract review guidelines; Responsible for ensuring global legal team is current on risk’s best practices.  Review insurance clauses in contracts globally; Discuss requirements with clients as necessary
    • Vendor Agreements Establish and maintain vendor insurance guidelines; Responsible for ensuring procurement team is current on risk’s best practices; Review vendor agreement insurance requirements
    • Certificates of Insurance Establish and maintain coi process globally
    • Insurance Budget   Assist in the management of the insurance budget of approximately $50M.  .  Provide program allocations.  Ensure payments are accurate, issued timely and accounted for properly
    • Risk Identification Work with business to identify new risks. Explore options to mitigate or insure risk under existing insurance program or implement new coverage options.
    • Strategic Risk Management Vision in conjunction with Director of Risk Management articulate risk management philosophy and risk retention strategy; Create and maintain risk management policy
    • Brokerage Ensure brokers are providing the required level of support and service agreed upon
    • RMIS Management Provide oversight of all development and system changes;  assist with Help Desk tickets;  maintain feeds; manage vendor to ensure compliance with SLA’s
    • Carrier Relationships Manage insurance carrier relationships including ensuring a proper understanding of business operations, growth strategy, exposure, risks and mitigation strategies.
    • Actuarial Reporting oversight and management of actuarial process
    • Customer Service Sustains good customer service by providing guidance and assistance on insurance coverage system-wide.
    • Sox Maintain established SOX controls
    • M&A Provide guidance on all  insurance issues/compliance/discovery for all m&a deals globally; Ensure proper insurance integration; Ensure required tail coverage is established


    • Broad knowledge of major types of insurance coverages
    • Good understanding of accounting principles and cost allocation
    • Superior communication, facilitation and consensus building skills
      Ability to forge relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Ability to work on various tasks in quick succession
      Ability to train and develop team members, legal, procurement and other internal constituents on insurance related matters
    • Process design and analysis skills
    • Strong research analysis and judgment skills
    • Education / Experience: 4-year College - Masters Degree / 7 – 10 Years
