    Responsibilities

     

    The Senior Tax Analyst/Tax Manager will report directly to Director of Tax and will provide support for both US federal and state income tax compliance, audits, and domestic tax planning.

     

    Qualifications

     

     

    • Critical role analyzing and preparing consolidated US Federal and state corporate income tax returns including permanent and timing differences
    • Review of the Company’s quarterly federal and state estimated income tax 
    • Reconciliation and analysis of income tax accounts on a monthly basis
    • Provides support as required for various federal, state and local income tax audits
    • Assistance in domestic tax planning and M&A activities
    • Research domestic tax issues as required
    • Desired Skills and Experience 
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting 
    • 4-7 years of public accounting and/or industry accounting experience 
    • CPA and/or MST preferred 
    • Strong US Federal and State tax skills, abilities and experience 
    • Strong written, verbal and organizational skills 
    • Demonstrates the ability to be hands- on and the willingness to accept challenging projects outside areas of experience 
    • Proficient with Excel as well as experience with other Microsoft Office applications
    • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion and tax reporting software preferred 
    • Self-motivated, hands-on and ability to learn and grow as a tax and business professional
