Serving the New York Metropolitan area for over 8 years, we pick up, store and deliver items to clients so that they never have to leave their home. We are currently looking for professional drivers to work in Teterbor, NJ. Please see below regarding the responsibility associated with the role.
•Operate a 16’ -20’ Box Truck (non-CDL) in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens.
•Pick-up and deliver consumer goods, including, but not limited to boxes, bins, sports equipment, furniture and other items.
•Exercise and actively promote safety at all times.
•Inspect all items at pick-up for damages and quality control.
•Load and unload items and related materials onto and off trucks, ensuring that appropriate padding, tape, and shrink wrap are used to prevent damage.
•Maintain a clean work space, including in the vehicle.
•Dress in full work uniform.
•Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
•Friendly demeanor when interacting with clients
•Follow and enforce safety procedures.
•Follow verbal and written instructions in English.
•Communicate professionally with Clients, building staff and teammates.
•Customer service oriented.
•Requires physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 75 lbs.
•Lift and manipulate heavy objects, up to 75 pounds, as well as navigate small spaces and stairwells.
•Able to operate a scanner and use basic technology.
•A criminal background check and drug screening are part of the hiring process.
•Large truck driving experience preferred, but not required.
•Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
