    Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Emerging Commercial solutions, the VP of Development will work in close collaboration with Product Management, Program management, and internal and external technology partners to define, develop and deliver an industry leading SaaS application. The VP of Development will lead multiple development teams and will be responsible to scale the organization and service offering to meet customer needs. The new commercial facing technology-based services and solutions will drive incremental and sustainable value for Iron Mountain’s current customer segments, as well as enable expansion into future customer segments and/or business adjacencies. The VP of Development will be responsible for the overall technology strategy and the full lifecycle of the development process and will ultimately play a key role in expanding Iron Mountain’s relevance as global Information Management Services provider, creating incremental and long term economic value.



    Build, cultivate, manage, and lead a global development organization responsible for technology incubation, architecture, engineering, development, launch, and TCE (Total Customer Experience).

    Develop a commercial facing technology roadmap that supports Product Management, Business Unit, and Customer Priorities and requirements for both existing and new customers, in current and adjacent businesses;

    Institute and align commercial development processes that ensure products are brought to market with quality and features that drive market adoption; ensure integration with Iron Mountains’ Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework;

    Identify, create, and utilize a partner ecosystem to accelerate development and adoption of commercial applications and solutions. (Suppliers, technology incubators and thought partners, customer-partners, etc.);

    Work effectively with cross functional teams to ensure successful product/services launch.

    Work with product management and business development to develop a compelling partner/technology eco-system as well as participate in the identification of M&A targets.

    Ensure architectural norms and standards are developed and adhered to.

    Work closely with customer care to ensure that user experience is key positive differentiator for future solutions. Develop methodologies and capability to enable exceptional customer care / customer experience in a “digital world”.

    Lead optimization of technology, and collaboration with key stakeholders to define and execute a compelling product/services roadmap.
