    The Iron Mountain Data Center (IMDC) finance and accounting team reports to the VP, Data Center Finance. The team works within the IMDC business unit as a financial hub between IMDC’s leadership and business teams, Iron Mountain’s enterprise team, the core businesses, and financial shared service functions.   The team partners to cover finance related responsibilities, from defining and driving budgeting, forecasting and performance management, monthly accounting and financial reporting, ad-hoc analyses and modeling, providing capital and business case support, and managing financial controls.


    The Order Entry and Billing Administrator, Data Center is responsible for customer set-up, maintenance of customer data, sales order processing and the preparation, verification, review, and distribution of invoices for locations within the Iron Mountain Data Center portfolio. Additional responsibilities will include researching and resolving billing inquiries and preparation of regular reporting on revenue, billing, and collection related metrics.  This role will utilize the Oracle order entry, revenue and billing system and will interact with customers.



    • Using the Oracle billing system, process orders and execute on the issuance of timely and accurate customer invoices in accordance with contract requirements.
    • Invoice verification and review as well as preparation of required adjustments.
    • Research billing issues through reference to sales documentation; provide daily support to internal and external customers.
    • Support accounts receivable group on the collection of open invoices, helping resolve open questions and issues.
    • Liaison with IT Support to resolve system discrepancies and to develop systematic enhancements to gain efficiencies.
    • Prepare, maintain and distribute billing reports as required.
    • Assist with specialized billing arrangements and processes that require escalated attention and intervention.
    • Maintain consistent, prompt, and accurate service levels to promote Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS).
    • Miscellaneous billing projects/responsibilities as assigned by management.


    • Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance
    • Minimum 3+ years of experience in related revenue/billing operational positions
    • Prior experience working and excelling in multi-location, business-services organization is preferred
    • Experience with enterprise-wide applications, accounting, reporting, and billing systems (such as Oracle and Hyperion), is required and experience with multinational companies and a shared accounting service center is a definite plus.
    • Knowledge of real estate, property management, and/or data center order to invoice processes
    • Excellent communication skills; ability to build relationships across a business
    • High degree of skill and proficiency with financial systems
    • Ability to foster a high degree of credibility with key stakeholders
    • High level of personal accountability
    • Experience with start-up and high growth businesses is highly valued in addition to experience with real estate/data centers.
