The Senior Compensation Analyst reports directly to the Compensation Manager and will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of compensation programs at Iron Mountain.  The focus is providing customers with TCS (Total Customer Satisfaction) in all facets of compensation services and support.  This includes partnering with HR and business managers to provide assistance / guidance around compensation programs, ensuring compliance, and assistance with the annual compensation processes, such as merit and Incentive Compensation.

  • Act as a business partner in conduct job analysis / market pricings on individual and groups of jobs as needed to ensure appropriate classification and that the company is aligned with the market in terms of compensation. 
  • Participate in identified salary surveys. 
  • Partner with and act as an internal consultant with managers and supervisors regarding compensation issues, policies and procedures. 
  • Gather and analyze data providing relevant information / recommendations to HR / business managers. 
  • Develop materials to educate Managers about compensation and the programs at Iron Mountain. 
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations. 
  • Responsible for monthly processes such as stock option, deferred compensation, etc. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers in all matters pertaining to Compensation. 
  • Special projects as assigned.


  • Excellent project management, analytical and computational skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access. 
  • Good interpersonal skills for client and colleague interaction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain total confidentiality in all matters related to employee compensation.   
  • Good organizational, project and time management skills. 
  • Total travel 10%. 
  • Education/Experience:  BS Degree in HR, Business or Finance required, Master's degree preferred.  / 2 - 4 years of compensation experience.
