Compensation Business Partner to Global Corporate Support Groups including Finance, IT, Legal, Marketing, Security, and HR. Responsible for developing and implementing global compensation strategies and solutions in support of business needs and aligned with the Iron Mountain reward frameworks.  Provide strategic compensation advice and counsel to the HR Business Partners and Business Leaders, including multiple Executive Committee members.  

Principle Responsibilities

  • Serve as a partner and consultant to assigned internal client groups to understand compensation needs and translate needs into viable solutions
  • Partner with Global Compensation team members to develop and implement global compensation solutions balancing the needs of the client organizations and the company guidelines and standards.   Participate in the creation of global compensation infrastructure including job grading and salary ranges
  • Manage annual compensation programs (merit, incentives, equity) for client organizations
  • Participate in M&A due diligence and integration of acquired companies, as needed
  • Lead components and/or participate in the implementation of the Workday compensation initiative
  • Research global best practices, internally and externally, and apply key findings to shape new or refine existing strategies, approaches and programs. Evaluate market and economic trends to recommend best solutions.
  • Partner with HR Business partners to build and strengthen their organizational compensation capabilities
  • Develop and conduct training and presentation

  • Possess an orientation toward using technology to automate programs and processes; experience with Workday beneficial
  • Flexible and the ability to multi-task
  • High proficiency in Excel, Work and PowerPoint; experience in Access a plus
  • Self-motivated, collaborative team player who can work effectively with individuals across the globe at all organizational levels within and outside of the company


Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ full-time experience in a compensation role
  • Global compensation experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization


Education Required: Bachelor of Science Degree
