Responsibilities

Iron Mountain’s Innovation Champion will shape and lead initiatives to design and pilot new product and service opportunities for Iron Mountain and its customers. This role is based in our Boston, MA, headquarters location. For the right candidate, we will consider an alternative location.

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading teams through the innovation process; collaborated with cross-functional teams and customers; and shown thought leadership on industry and technology trends. We are looking for an action-oriented strategist who can quickly turn vision into results.

 

Responsibilities

  • Use existing market research and resources including VoC, and design new ways to gain insights, to assess growth opportunities and areas of expansion for Iron Mountain
  • Lead design thinking workshops, with multiple cross-functional internal stakeholders and customers
  • Recommend specific and actionable phased next steps to execute on recommendations, prioritized by growth impact
  • Build initial market recommendations and business cases
  • Work across functions and within Lifecycle process to socialize and validate your recommendations
  • Launch pilots and determine subsequent go/no go decisions
  • Lead within our team and cross-functionally

Qualifications

  • Experience designing and launching 1.0 products and services
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience
  • Track record using design thinking to solve complex B2B problems.
  • Knowledgeable about effective change management
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead or coach others
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
  • High level of energy, personal drive, and positivity
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Product Design or Computer Science
