This individual will be responsible for the scheduling and completion of all maintenance, corrective and preventive for all facility assets and equipment. Participate in tasks associated with customer provisioning and support.  Additionally, oversee and maintain spare parts and supplies, and inventory functions


Primary job duties would include ensuring the completion of planned, preventative, and corrective maintenance and repair work by coordination with vendors and internal resources as necessary.  Provide support for the Operations department in customer support; internal and external, shipping and receiving, general custodial and inventory functions as well as other duties and responsibilities assigned by the department.


Other responsibilities include:


  • Maintaining equipment history and testing documentation.
  • Responsibility for the overall cleanliness and up keep of the interior and exterior of the building including controlled areas where housekeeping standards will be extensive.  
  • The Technician will be responsible for routine maintenance and a variety of facility, and grounds maintenance tasks, and additionally the operation of equipment to support these tasks.
  • Responsibility for all incoming and outgoing material. 
  • The technician will be responsible for accurate inventory of items being received and shipped. 
  • Responsibility for the inventory of stored equipment for various FORTRUST departments, and customers. 
  • The position will be responsible for ordering and maintaining proper inventory amounts of cleaning supplies, maintenance items, and other consumables.
  • Additional responsibilities to cover building security will be required. Monitoring systems include: security systems, security camera systems and fire alarm systems,

  • Working in a 7x24 environment, call in and responding outside of normal business hours may be required
  • Entry level MS Office Suite
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial maintenance

  • Attention to detail 


Work Experience requirements



  • 3 years maintenance experience in a controlled environment
  • Experience with Generators, HVAC equipment
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
