Responsibilities

 

The Systems Analyst (SA) provides direct customer service to major brokerage firms in relation to their compliance needs. Iron Mountain provides Designated Third Party services for brokerage firms using electronic systems to maintain their records. These electronic systems include back office, trade data and email archiving systems from a wide variety of vendors on a wide variety of platforms.

 

As a generalist, the SA has a unique opportunity to learn about new systems deployed in real world environments. The SA will work as the front line technical contact with our customer’s compliance and IT teams to help them meet their compliance needs and suggest other opportunities for Iron Mountain to help the customer. There is some travel required to client locations.

 

The SA also provides assistance related to compliance requirements for Registrar and Registry Data Escrow clients. This will consist of new customer onboarding, managing and monitoring of customer’s SFTP account set up, identifying issues, assistance with deposit issues, and suggesting resolutions that meet the compliance and contractual needs of IM and the customer. The SA is the liaison between the customer and Iron Mountain’s technical teams to help ensure a pleasant and professional customer experience. The SA does work with an International customer base that may occasionally require after-hours support.

 

In addition, the SA also will use their software development skills to enhance and support tools unique related to our current and future service offerings.

 

Job responsibilities:

  • Be a complete technical liaison to customer firms regarding D3P services and Registry Data Escrow.
  • Help ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction as consultant and trusted advisor.
  • Protect and advance the Company’s excellent reputation.
  • Research and follow up on issues related to specific assigned customers.
  • Inform, mentor and train technical colleagues, customers, and partners.
  • Development of tools unique to our business.
  • Up to 5% to 20% travel required in North America.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Must be an excellent communicator on both a technical and business level. Verbal and written skills are required.
  • Must have experience supporting external customers.
  • Must be comfortable speaking to customers in any role, representing employer confidently and honestly.
  • Must have in-depth hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, supporting, or upgrading multi-tiered applications environments.
  • Must have real world experience in the following areas:
  • UNIX/Linux experience
  • PGP key encryption and decryption
  • Microsoft .NET experience
  • Use of scripting languages (PERL,VBScript) for development of data parsers
  • Understanding of database systems including SQL and very large databases
  • Experience with server based Operating Systems in a multi-tiered environment
  • WORM Backup Solutions
  • Accessing remote sites via VPN
  • Storage subsystems and storage managers
  • Content Management Systems
  • J2EE development experience
  • Project Management
  • Experience working in a professional services group
 
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or Information Systems/Technology.
