Responsibilities

To lead the work on defining the behaviours and competencies required to build the culture required for our future success. Leading the review and alignment of key Talent processes and tools to ensure they embed and reinforce our desired culture in the future.

  • Pull together a storyboard/message framework that outlines the organisation culture we are trying to build, incorporating existing materials and identifying those that need to be discontinued or replaced.
  • Designing cultural workshops for HR Business Partners and leaders to deliver to help drive and embed the new culture of create-compete
  • Complete culture mapping exercise and update it, to map where we are today and where we want to be, building a realistic action plan, which is tracked and updated.
  • Review our existing assessment tools for fit with desired culture and amend/change as appropriate to ensure they focus on behaviours and activities that we require for our future culture – including 360, Recruitment and Development assessment tools e.g. MBTI, Decision Profiling, OPQ etc
  • Review and updating of global recognition programme design to ensure it’s aligning to our new culture, core values and innovation in the best way.
  • Working with the Workforce Experience Team, introduce/evolve our process for obtaining employee feedback and input about working at Iron Mountain. Review the sPEAK process and create a recommendation for gathering feedback from employees on a regular basis
  • Design and manage the process for acting on employee feedback, ensuring that our culture of ‘Trust’ is embedded.
  • Work with other members of the Talent team to review our Talent Processes and tools, ensuring that they are aligned with our desired culture and look to embed it in our business.
  • Design and create toolkits and tools that can be used by HR Business Partners to help leaders in the business identify behaviours, processes or meetings that embed or distract from our desired culture.
  • Lead the partnership with Korn Ferry on the development and use of their assessment tools within Iron Mountain.

  • Recommendations about solutions and approach – working with critical stakeholders
  • Management of budget allocated to Assessment and Employee Feedback tools

Resources

  • Indirect input from HR Business Partners and Generalists throughout the network, specifically the Workforce Experience team in North America.

Experience

  • Experience leading a culture change programme in other businesses
  • Strong global leadership and experience with an understanding of, appreciation for and ability to be effective with differences in market dynamics, cultures, communities and leadership styles.
  • Experience in leading Capability/Learning functions in other global organisations
  • Comfortable operating in a matrix; experience doing so successfully.
  • Successful track record of providing value added service to internal and/or external clients creating solutions based on based on business needs
  • Strong team leader who can motivate, engage, mobilize, and build high performance teams
