Responsible for any combination of the functional areas of expertise with the Network and Network Security family, supporting business requirements and strategy, inclusive of: 1) Network design, which may incorporate all aspects of the communications infrastructure; 2) Network Planning, encompassing the creation and maintenance of overall network plans to define service level agreements, the infrastructure elements necessary to support agreements, and provision of network services. May also include physical implementation of technologies; and 3) Network Security Design/Planning, with focus on Firewall Technologies, IPS/IDS, URLF and general Security Standards as they relate to Infrastructure Services.  This may include Proof of Technology testing, Vendor Engagements, Strategy/Roadmap Planning and presenting to senior leadership.  This role requires strong collaboration with the Global Security and Compliance group to map Security Controls to Internal and Regulatory policy.  More detailed information about each sub-function is provided below.


As premier technical specialist, provides thought and technical leadership on some of the following activities; and may be technical lead to other professionals within the function:

  • Prepare and maintain Technology Roadmaps for Network and Security solutions
  • Develop architectural diagrams for new solutions
  • Present Strategy and Technology roadmaps to Infra Leadership
  • Partner with Global Security and Audit teams to identify and remediate gaps in our Network Security
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency
  • Evaluates new technologies and platforms to determine whether their applicability aligns with businesses needs
  • Work closely with strategic vendors



  • Possesses a highly specialized level of technical expertise or business acumen.
  • Extensive breadth and depth of knowledge arrived through exposure to emerging technical advancements or complex business situations.
  • Extensive experience working with Cisco and Checkpoint technologies.
  • Demonstrated work experience developing Infrastructure Solutions and integration planning.
  • Must have experience implementing and supporting IPS/IDS/URLF solutions
  • Over 12 years of applicable experience.
  • Infoblox experience a plus.
  • Aruba experience a plus.
